In 2024, we worked with Ukrainian colleagues on holding the Russian authorities to account. Our joint cases focused on issues including enforced disappearance, prosecutions for ‘discrediting the army’, and the forced deportation of children.

In the context of the renewed crackdown in Azerbaijan, we demanded urgent action to protect two imprisoned critics of the government, Anar Mammadli and Gubad Ibadoghlu.

In Georgia, we challenged new legislation designed to undermine accountability and free expression.
